Crinkling her nose in sheer delight

You are there in a sparrow’s dust bath

Tossing dust all over its little body

You are there in a stray dog’s eyes

When it receives unexpected kindness

You are there in the perseverence of the ants

Toiling patiently till eternity

You are there in the rainwashed flowers

Dancing joyfully in the windswept meadow

You are there in the soft rainbow

Reflected in the roadside puddle

You are there in the twinkling lights

Of an air-plane streaking across the night sky

You are there in the blurred halo

Around a full moon veiled in clouds

You are there in the stillness of an ocean

And in its violent angry waves

The sky, the earth, the waters…
