My First English Poem

(Age: Above 7 years)

Happy to thy, Happy to thee,

The cherished sweetheart loved to me,

The grass is green,

What a lovely screen,

How fresh air!

Of the morning bright and fair!

The trees are standing on the ground,

And green-green around and around

The blossomed flowers!

And Happy rain falling in showers,

The clouds in sky,

The cherished sweetheart loved to thy,

There rises the sun!

It’s light had won,

It’s light had won the night,

For we are very sure sure right.
