Friendship
In this world of formal etiquettes
There must still exist a friendly heart
Which would feel along with its friend
And would not in trials break apart
Break apart it certainly does
At the sight of a suffering mate
But friends it loves deeply enough
To overlook the twists and turns of fate
Fate is something that does figure
In lives, by playing important roles
In governing petty and big events
Through personal and social loopholes
Loopholes have existed since the start
They can be found everywhere here
So even though one tries to give the best
Someone will always have to bear
Bear all must for decency’s sake
Sometimes retorting is not polite
And though smiles maybe forever lost
It is improper to go for an outright fight
Fight one does in many a way
With one’s limits to cherish a hope
But when a true friend is near and around
With struggles it becomes easier to cope
Cope we do with others and self
But if this is done with friends to cheer
Smiles would come more easily to us
And save us many an unshed tear
